Susan is an amazing person. Her love for all horses and students is beyond measure. My daughter has very high anxiety issues that has affected her life for years. Susan has taught her how use her love for horses to become a strong confident young lady. Thank you for all that you do, Susan!
I have been riding at Double O Ranch for three years. I went from new rider to horse owner under the wing of the owner. This owner taught me everything from building a relationship with a horse, safety, and care to tack, health, and riding. That is more than "horseback riding lessons", that is a teacher!
My daughter started riding with the owner at age 5 and in three years has gone from shy and timid, to outgrowing and asking to join arena competitions. She helped my daughter through a tough time emotionally by helping her channel her feelings into something positive. No matter where we go, Double O Ranch will always be in our hearts!
Double O is amazing. They take amazing care of our two horses, riding lessons for our daughter is amazing. How she teaches the children is top notch. I would recommend her completely. I love that she is an open book. Only asks for our phone numbers nothing personal and that she even lets us know that she turns in all her income from the lessons and boarding to her accountant and IRS. I love that she is an open book. Very trust worthy. I trust her 100% with my child and my horses. Can't get any more trustworthy than that. And what I love is that she has gotten our rescue horses weight up and they are so healthy now. I love that she is personal and genuinely cares for the animals but also us as persons. WE are not just another paycheck to her. I can't express how blessed we are to have her in our lives and take care of our horses.
We have always enjoyed our time at double O ranch. As a novice equestrian, the owner gave one on one guidance, and was great with my children (9, 7, & 1.) I would highly recommend them to anyone, wanting to learn to care for their horses.
The owner of the ranch is super nice and great with our children. The horses at double O ranch are very well taken care. The stalls and the barn have always been clean every time we have been there. I would highly recommend this horse ranch to anyone I know.
